The rules for COVID-19 continue to change rapidly and regularly. We are monitoring developments closely and will advise if anything with the COVID-19 Protection Framework in the future.

Covid and Vac Certificates

From Friday, December 3 the COVID-19 Protection Framework will take effect across New Zealand, with our region operating under the ‘’red’’ traffic light.

Waterworld Ltd has opted into the Voluntary Code for Events ("the Covid code") You can view this by clicking onto the PDF Link on this page or download HERE.

Under any Traffic Light level, all businesses may choose to operate with My Vaccine Pass requirements (unless it’s mandated for their industry, e.g., close contact businesses, gyms etc.)

Proof of Vaccination at Waterworld Waterparks

Under the COVID-19 Protection Framework all of our event permits require Vaccine Passes to operate.

To ensure the wellbeing of our staff, community, and our local health system, we are requiring everyone visiting our events (12 years & 3 months or older) from December 3 to have a valid Vaccine Pass.

All Waterworld staff are vaccinated

You will need to produce your Vaccine Pass every time you visit.

If you do not have a Vaccine Pass, you cannot enter with a negative test result.

If you do not currently have a COVID-19 Vaccination Record you can apply for one online through the NZ Ministry of Health HERE
